Clothing the Hungry in Compassion
Verse: “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink.” - Matthew 25:35
In this verse, Jesus calls us to care for “the least of these.” When we feed the hungry, we serve Him directly. It’s a reminder that our acts of compassion are sacred and meaningful. Hunger is not just about food—it’s about dignity, community, and hope. Let’s clothe our actions with compassion and remember that every meal we share brings someone closer to God’s grace.
Prayer:
Father, help me to see You in the faces of those who are hungry. Give me a heart of compassion and hands ready to serve. May my actions glorify You as I care for the least of these in Your name. Amen.
